It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eldon Harms of Eureka, Illinois, born in Benson, Illinois, who passed away on April 20, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John G. Harms and Matilda Hinrichs Harms; his wife Betty L. Kelsey; and his great grandchild Christopher Kirby. He is survived by: his children, Linda Kerler (Dave) of East Peoria, Paul Harms (Kathy) of Benson and Sue Harms-Nixon (Vernon) of Decatur; his sister Marilyn Ogden; his grandchildren, Courtney Kerler (Thorin), Jessica Harms (David), Melissa Navarro (Lucio) and William "Willie" Harms; his great grandchildren, Jackson and Malakai Navarro; his stepgrandchildren, Katie Stutzman (Burly) and Meredith Bogner (Aaron); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Carley VanWye (Phil), Alexis Stuzman and Alex Bogner.
Social distancing guidelines will be observed and the funeral service will be lived streamed on the Knapp-Johnson-Harris Funeral Home Facebook page.
