He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Bass and Pauline Bass (Duff); and his brother Herb. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Sanford of Mary's Chapel; his children, Sayard Bass-Rucinski (Alex) of Downers Grove, Jacob of North Pekin, IL and Eli of Peoria, IL; his grandchildren, Killian, Freya, Max and Margaret; and his sisters, Linda Moushon of Lehigh, FL and Gail Althoff of Effingham, IL.
