She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Aberle and Lydia Baer Aberle; her husband Roy J. Maurer; her daughter Joy Annette Maurer; and her son-in-law Tom Keeley.

She is survived by: her children, Sue Hinrichsen (Mark) of Eureka, Janet Keeley of Bloomington, John Maurer (Emily) of Saybrook, IL, Alan Maurer of Forrest, David Maurer of Phoenix, AZ and Timothy Maurer (Maribelle) of Eureka; and her sister Lois Fisher of Los Angeles. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka or to Crisis Pregnancy Center in Pontiac.
