He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin C. Soltwisch and Grace C. Soltwisch; his wife Mary Catherine Soltwisch; his grandson Timothy Steger; and his siblings, Ronald Soltwisch and Elaine Niewold.
He is survived by: his children, Catherine Soltwisch of Essex, Thomas Soltwisch of Aurora, IL, Paul Soltwisch (late Christine) of Essex, Barbara Hoth (late Jerry) of Eddyville, KY and Carol Eichorst (George) of Lisbon, IL; his sister Beverly Vernon (John) of Seneca, IL; and his sister-in-law Patricia Soltwisch. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
