It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Russel Smith of Essex, Illinois, born in Williamsfield, Illinois, who passed away on July 25, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Smith and Evelyn Iola Smith (Hegwood); and his sister Hazel Bainbridge (Bill). He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Moranski; his grandchildren, Samara Anderson (David) of South Wilmington, Amanda Brown (David) of Coal City, Corinne Smith of Arizona and Coli Smith Panfil (Curt) of Westmont; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Madison, Mya, Abbey, Jenna, Caleb and Milania; and his brother-in-law Clarence Moranski (Sherry). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Russ' memory to a Parkinson's Disease related charity of the donor's choosing.
