He was predeceased by: his parents, Merritt Wells and Laurena Wells (Jensen); and his siblings, Everett Wells, Jessie Wells, Florence Wells, Faye Spies, Ray Wells, Fern VanSlette, Helen Lippold, Roy Wells, John Wells, Lawrence Wells and Dale Wells.
He is survived by: his wife Paquita Wells; his sister Grace Lloyd; and his children, Larry Wells, Gary Wells, Cheryl Wells, Victor Wells, Lester Wells (Gina) of Florida and Debbie Belor (Dan) of Kentucky. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.
