With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen L. VanDuyne of Essex, Illinois, born in Kankakee, Illinois, who passed away on July 5, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Oliver Franz Hagberg. She is survived by: her mother Doris Hagberg of Essex; her husband Leonard "Lenny" VanDuyne of Essex; her daughters, Kathy Eller (Brian) of St. James, MO and Krista Freeman (Bobby) of Bluffton, SC; her grandchildren, Abigail Eller, Chloe Eller, Sydney Freeman, Peyton Freeman, William Eller and Savanna Freeman; and her siblings, Nancy Lundgren (William) of South Wilmington, IL and Jeffery Hagberg (Monica) of Essex. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
