She is survived by: her daughter Donna Pena (Tony) of Arkansas; her sister Doris Hagberg of Essex; her grandchildren, Robert Bates of Gardner, IL, Charles "Dusty" Bates and Amy Welker of Dwight, IL; her great grandchildren, Chelsey Welker of Chicago, IL, Molly Welker of Dwight, Zoe Hassett of Braidwood, IL, Maggie Bates of Morris, IL, Robert Bates, Jr. of Morris, IL and Clare Bates of Morris, IL; and her great great grandchild Dalilah Garrett of Morris.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
