She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Horn; and her grandparents, Paul, Mildred Armstrong, Henry and Elizabeth Horn.

She is survived by: her mother Marlene Horn (Armstrong); her siblings, Lawanda Maierhofer (Bruce), Michele Tupper (Mike), Bill Horn (Nancy Minton), Gregory Horn and Jeffrey Horn; her nieces and nephews, Mary Anderson (Nate), Mike Horn (Natalie), Jake Wigent and Megan Horn; her great-niece Lily; and her great-nephew Brady Anderson.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Uplifted Care of Kankakee, or the Betty Birch Bridgewater Center.

“Just hearing of Debbie's passing, I can't help but reflect on the beautiful human being God has called home. Working with her at the Aurora post Office, she always volunteered a helping hand. (photos included). After her moving to Essex we became letter writing pals. I will miss those lovely letters and the jokes she included in them made me laugh. She always showed concern for my health not even mentioning she had cancer and what she was going through. My deepest sympathy. Karen Henry”
