It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cherrell Ann Thomas of Essex, Illinois, born in Geneva, Illinois, who passed away on May 22, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Therrell Leon O'Dell. She is survived by: her mother Yvonne Chapman (Ron) of Jackson, TN; her husband Christopher Thomas; her daughters, Candice Thomas (Wade Vandegraft) of Fairbury, IL and Crystal Thomas of Channahon, IL; her grandsons, Jonathon and Nathan; her great grandchildren, Ezekiel and Kayden; her sisters, Penny Porter of Batavia, IL and Lora Biddle (Don) of Geneva; her mother-in-law Rosemarie Thomas; and her brothers, Kenneth and Leon O'Dell. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and their families; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
