She was predeceased by: her parents, August Dhaemers and Augusta Dhaemers; her husband Henry Hicks; her siblings, Oscar Dhaemers and Emma Carpenter; and her sons-in-law, Jim Kingdon and Dale O'Connor. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
