It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerrod Alan Huizenga of Erie, Illinois, born in Moline, Illinois, who passed away on November 29, 2023, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Roger Huizenga; and his grandparents, Rolland, Janet Huizenga, Walter and Hazel Oltman.
He is survived by: his mother Joyce Huizenga (Oltman); his children, Jayden, Jeremy, Ema and Sarah Huizenga; his brothers, Jason, Joshua (Terri) and Jacob Huizenga (Emily); and his nieces and nephews, Noah, Carter Huizenga, Bailey Huizenga, Nick, Michael and Eve Massa.
Memorials may be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention or to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
