James Chamberlain Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Chamberlain (Erie, Illinois), born in Newton, Illinois, who passed away on November 10, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Chamberlain and Rosella Chamberlain (O'Neil); his wife Dorothy Mae McKenna; his son Greg; his son-in-law Art Mack; and his siblings, Leo, Howard, Clyde, Lorraine Verkruysee, Dorothy Schroeder and Isabel Hood.

He is survived by: his children, Teresa Anderson (Jim) of LeClaire, IA, Chris Chamberlain (Cheryl) of Franklin, TN, Laura Currie (Brian) of Silvis, IL, Cynthia, Dennis Chamberlain (Cheryl) of Verona, WI, Rebecca Mack of Lakewood, NJ, Veronica Saad (Michael) of Erie, IL and Maria McAtee (Russ) of O'Fallon, MO.. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Face coverings and social distancing will be required.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greg Chamberlain Memorial Scholarship through the Erie High School or St. Ambrose Catholic Church.
