With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard Huizenga in Erie, Illinois, born in Newton, Illinois, who passed away on January 28, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Justus Huizenga and Winnie Huizenga (Heun); and his siblings, Marjorie Klooster and Harlan Huizenga. He is survived by: his wife Gertrude J. Sikkema; his children, Eileen Kutchman (Steve) of Fulton, Pam Hoogheem (Dave) of Bettendorf, IA, Garry Huizenga (Sheila) of Fulton and Jeff Huizenga (Deb) of Davenport, IA; his grandchildren, Adam, Anna, Andrew, Allison, Ben, Makayla, Becky and Claire; and his brother Paul Huizenga of Erie, IL.. He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
