With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elsie J. Jacobs of Erie, Illinois, who passed away on November 21, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris DeCap and Goldie DeCap (Wyckhuys); her husband LaVerne Jacobs; and her brothers, Al DeCap and Jim DeCap.

She is survived by: her children, Mark Jacobs (Judy) of Rock Falls, IL, Laura Burk of New Ipswich, NH, Allen Jacobs (Wendy), Erie and Scott Jacobs (Lisa). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Erie Ambulance Service.
