She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry E. Alecock and Florence Alecock (Goff); her husband Robert V. Day; her siblings, Robert, Vern, Richard, Harry Alecock, Ada Alecock, Mary Dowell, Melba Welch and Joyce Alecock; and her son-in-law Lloyd Short.
She is survived by: her children, Robert G. Day (Jackie) of Port Byron, IL and Roberta Short (Ray DeRiemacker) of Hillsdale, IL; and her sisters, Betty Brown of Monmoth, IL, Maida Johnson of Biggsville, IL, Jean Anderson of Burlington, IA and Sandra Cox of La Harpe, IL. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and 5 step great-grandchildren.
