She was predeceased by: her parents, James Melton and Burneile Melton (Olinger); her former husband Gilbert Medema; her husband Gordon Young; her children, Laurie Smith and Robert Medema; her son-in-law Wayne Tegeler; and her siblings, Bobby Melton, Jim Melton, Faye Lacey and Shirley Floming.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teri Tegeler of Highlands Ranch, CO and Kris Faye (Carl); her daughter-in-law Becke Medema; her stepchildren, Rex Young (Rhonda) and Nadine Young; her sister Marilyn Woodard; and her brother-in-law Donald Floming. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Erie Christian Church or Windsor Manor of Morrison.
