We bid farewell to Marti Storto of Equality, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 16, 2025 at the age of 81. Marti touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. Drone and Lucy Drone (Muenstermann); and her siblings, Charles, Cletus, Hubert Drone and Dorothy Sphar.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Storto of Equality, Kelly Storto (Tresa) of Marion and Marci Watson (Sean) of Eldorado; her grandchildren, Alexa Aud (Bryant) of Equality and Anthony Storto of Equality; her great grandchildren, Jaicee Jackson and Finley Aud; her sister Dolores Schmitt of Ridgway; and her siblings-in-law, Linda Drone and Dominic Storto. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Watson Funeral Home (1517 Locust St, Eldorado, IL 62930). A rosary was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Kateri Catholic Church (220 S Combs St, Ridgway, IL 62979).
Memorials in her memory may be made to St. Jude's and envelopes will be available.
