With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Gene Omohundro (Equality, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 19, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rollie Dallas and June Lorene Omohundro (Tedford); and his great grandchild Greyson Charles Bramlet. He is survived by: his wife Mary Omohundro (Lawson); his brother Richard Omohundro (Kathy); his children, Clinton Omohundro (Robin), Penny Bramlet (Charlie), Jeff Marcum (Pam) and Christopher Marcum (Samantha); his grandchildren, Brooke Taylor (Jeffrey), Coleman Bramlet (Marissa), Lindsay Abell (John), Casey Daughenbaugh (Karl), Jamie Rowe (Ethan), Jacob Marcum and Lena Marcum; and his great grandchildren, Nate, Wyatt, Jenna, Emmet Taylor, Emerson Abell, Gavin Blue, Ross, Max, Ellie Daughenbaugh, Hudson Bramlet, Wes Omohundro, Nessa and Damon Rowe.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the New Life Christian Center (519 N McHenry St, Equality, IL 62934). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and envelopes will be available at the church.
