It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene David Sanks of Equality, Illinois, born in Goshen, Indiana, who passed away on September 12, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David Rees Sanks II and Mildred Irene Wheaton Sanks; his brother David Rees Sanks III; and his cousin Van Sanks (Anice).
Due to Covid 19, there will be a private service. Masks and social distancing will be required.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Equality Food Pantry, Shawneetown Food Pantry, Gallatin County Golden Circle, or the Equality Masonic Lodge.
