She was predeceased by: her father James H. McNew; her husband Jeff Smith; and her brother Doug McNew. She is survived by: her mother Patricia Delores McNew (Kesterson) of Carmi, IL; her children, Joshua Patrick Smith (Amber) of Kailua, HI, Justin Ray Smith (Kinsey) of Fort Meyers, FL and Samantha Lea Hazel (Corey) of Eddyville, IL; her grandchildren, Conor, Riley, Brittyn, Wyatt, Royce and Gunner; and her siblings, Cindy Sneed of Carmi, IL and Shellie McNew of Evansville, IN..
