Jean Weldin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean Weldin of Enfield, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 11, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Wicker and Mary Wicker (Cusic); her husband William H. "Bill" Weldin; and her siblings, James Wicker and Mary Jane Patillo.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Hall (David) of Grayville, IL, Randall Weldin of Carmi, IL, Wanda Weldin (Doug Quandt) of Dubois, IL. and Rhonda Bachman (David) of Carmi, IL; her grandchildren, Laura Daily (Matt), Shelby Bachman and Emma Bachman; her stepgrandson Clayton Hall; her great grandchild Zane Clagg (Katilyn Martin); and her cousin Dorothy Wheeler.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stendeback Funeral Home (119 W Main St, Enfield, IL 62835). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jean's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, and will be accepted at Stendeback Funeral Home in Enfield, or may be mailed to 609 W. Main St. Carmi, IL. 62821.
