He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elijah Johnson and Maidy "Opal" Johnson (Hayes); his wife Sharon Neaville; his children, Scott Johnson, Steven Johnson (Christina) and Summer Puckett (Alex); his grandson Evan Alexander Puckett; and his brother Robert E. Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made in Clinton's memory to the Enfield Christian Church, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
