It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Stahl of Enfield, Illinois, born in Mill Shoals, Illinois, who passed away on May 31, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Stahl and Nell Stahl (Buttry); and his brothers, Donald and Kenneth. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Unfried; his siblings, Wendell Stahl of Thornton, Merle Stahl of Denver and Karen Funnell of Albuquerque; his children, Tom Stahl (Patti) of New Harmony, Indiana and Deanna Kovacich (Joe) of Highlands Ranch, Colorado.; his grandchildren, Heather Pierce (Glen) of Jasper, Indiana, Levi Stahl (Stacey Shintani) of Chicago, Illinois, Matthew Stahl (Jill) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Sarah Driscoll of Highlands Ranch, Colorado and Ben Kovacich of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; and his great grandchildren, Carson Pierce, Ainsley Pierce, Aubree Stahl and Blake Stahl. He is also survived by his brothers and sister to his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, friends donate to Pets at Risk in Carmi, or to their own local animal shelter.
