It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cliff Pennington of Enfield, Illinois, born in Pontiac, Illinois, who passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Eldon and Hollis Marie Pennington (Fitch); his grandparents, Paul, Opal Fitch, Anthony and Bessie Pennington; and his brothers-in-law, Kenneth Stark, Rick Broz and Glen Hatcher.
He is survived by: his daughter Arica Rinehart (Justin) of Flora; his stepdaughter Arriel Layne of Effingham; his grandchildren, Hudson James Rinehart, Leah Layne, Kaden Layne and Xzaviour Layne; his close friends, Brad Williams and Gary Pennington; his pet Bentley; and his siblings, James Everett Pennington, Jewell Rutland, Sandra Hatcher, Ruth Barger and Ethel Stark.
Memorial donations are suggested to the family to assist with final expenses, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
