He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Robinson and Eva R. Robinson (Lewis); and his brother Robert Eugene Robinson. He is survived by: his wife Lydia Robinson of Energy; his daughters, Deborah Parks of Energy and Lori Robinson (Greg Shovan) of Herrin; his granddaughters, Brooke McBryde of Buchanan, GA and Andrea Cheatwood of Cedartown, GA; and his great grandchildren, Alliyah, Riley, Dadrien, Leilynd, Cameron, McKinley, Madilynn and Za'Kai.
