Jolene M. Yancey Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jolene M. Yancey of Energy, Illinois, born in Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on September 5, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur "Otts" Mueth and Alberta Mueth (Petry); her husband John Willis Yancey; her children, Scott Arthur Yancey and Amy Michelle Yancey; her granddaughter Smith; her sister Elizabeth J. "Betty" Huddleston; her grandparents, Elmer, Martha Schlesinger, Joseph and Anna Mueth; her parents-in-law, Ralph and Beatrice Yancey; and her brothers-in-law, Dave Brown, James Yancey and Mike Yancey.

She is survived by: her children, Kristin (Eric Smith), John Michael (Jamie Yancey), Jennifer (Troy McGinnis) and Donovan Yancey of West Frankfort; her grandchild Keegan Smith of Creal Springs; her great grandchildren, Fletcher and Fiona Yancey of DuQuoin; her sister Linda; her siblings-in-law, Terry Cain of Herrin, Don Huddleston of Herrin, Iris, Don Kilpatrick of Florida, Richard, Donna Yancey of Herrin, Janice Brown of Herrin, Diane Yancey of Herrin and Kay Yancey of Tennessee; and her pets, Roscoe and Cora. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
