It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet M. Derousse (Energy, Illinois), who passed away on December 14, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Rhyne and Ruth L. Rhyne (Louveau); and her siblings, Jewel Carr, Eleanor Franklin, Francis Smith, Juanita Bova, Laverne Clifton, Violet Derry, Ardell Laflour, Vernon Rhyne and Glennon Rhyne.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy DeRousse of Johnston City, Gregory DeRousse (Debbie) of Herrin, Bryan DeRousse of Energy and Myra Craig (David) of Berea, KY; her grandchildren, Robert Nanney (Rebecca), Jessica Yudhistira (Gus), Lance Ridgeway (Kelsey), Amanda Rucker (Bryan), Collin Murrie (Anna), Scarlett DeRousse and Ashton DeRousse; and her sister Darlene Noe of Red Bud, IL.
Memorial donations are suggested and may be made to the OLMC New School Fund or to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 316 West Monroe St, Herrin, IL 62948 and will be accepted at the funeral home.
