He is survived by: his children, Justin Yates (Amber) of Herrin, IL, Joshua Yates of Carterville, IL and Ashli Clifton of Dowell, IL; his grandchildren, Jaxon Yates, Olivia Yates, Evelyn Yates and Rowan Beyke; and his siblings, Brenda Bailey of Herrin, IL, Leah (Paul Mullins), Cyndi (Martin Stout), Linda (David Holland), John (Jessica Yates) and Billy (Sandra Gooden). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
