He was predeceased by: his son Joel; his daughter-in-law Shirley Wieland; and his brother Barry Wieland. He is survived by: his son Brett; his daughter-in-law Ramona Wieland of Herrin; his fiancés, Lexis Wieland and Garrett Sansoucie of Fenton, MO; his granddaughters, Jordyn D. Wieland, Paige M. Wieland and Victoria "Petey" Smith (Charles Howard, Jr.); his great grandchild Blair E. Smith; and his siblings, Ed Wieland of Herrin and Phyllis Kubala (George Major) of Breckenridge, MI. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and numerous close friends.
