He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William C. Cross and Alma J. Conklen Cross; his wife Frances K. Briggs; his children, Tom Cross (Lori) of Hartsburg, Tim Cross (Donna) of El Paso and Amy Pinkerton (Jim) of Wapella; his grandchildren, Michael Cross, Laura Knepler, Melissa Peters, Kelly Wright, Emma Latham, Will Cross, Noah Cross, Elise Hanneman and Raegan Weaver; his brother Gene Cross (Wanda) of Emden; his son Jerry Bill Cross; his great grandchild Aubrey Knepler; and his sisters, Joy Alice and Betty Ann Krusemark. He was also cherished by 13 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
