It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley E. Utermark (Elwood, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 29, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Louise Alexanderson; and his sisters, Shirley Nordin (Len) and Jeannne Larson (Martin). He is survived by: his wife Carola J. Utermark; his children, Mary Perham (John), Tom Utermark (Lynn), Kathy Smith, Carola Beemsterboer (Paul), Carl Utermark (Jennifer), Teresa Mathews (Paul), Mike Utermark (Renee) and Kris Utermark (Jill); and his grandchildren, Kim DeVries (Matt), Victoria Poss (Matt), Matt Utermark (Gabi), Steven Utermark (Drea), Kaitlyn McGee (Eric), Trisha Smith, Keith Smith (Ashley), Joe Rodgers, Mike Rodgers (Casey), Brian Rodgers, Tim Rodgers, Adam Utermark (Courtney), David Utermark, Megan Gassel, Bill Mathews, Jenna Mathews, Kaitlyn Mathews, Jake Utermark (Kristin), Josh Utermark, Emily Smith (Konnor), Will Utermark (Kathryn), Nora Utermark and Hayden Stasiak. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Stanley's name to Vitas Hospice, 2175 Oneida St, Joliet, IL 60435 would be most appreciated.

“I just happened to see Stans obit while I was searching the web for people I knew from my past. I worked with Stan at IBT in Roseland way back in the 1960’s and remember him as a friendly, nice guy. From what I remember, he went on to start a landscaping business. Every time I see a Utermark landscaping truck, I think of Stan. God bless”
