She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Carr and Helena Carr (Howell); and her sister Dorothy Powell of Ottawa. She is survived by: her husband Duane G. Sandquist of Elwood; her sons, Eric Sandquist (Susan) of Wolf City, Delbert Sandquist (Melinda) of Greenville, Jeremy Sandquist of Coal City and Jason (Janna) of Ulman; and her brother Martin Carr of Ottawa. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
