It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ross Alan Neitzel of Elwood, Illinois, born in Santa Maria, California, who passed away on January 2, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Darlene Neitzel (McCumsey) and Ross Neitzel of Streator, IL.; and his siblings, Ron Neitzel and Lura Gilkerson of Streator. He is survived by: his wife Carol Neitzel (Hayducak) of Elwood, IL.; and his son Todd Neitzel of Greers Ferry, Ark..

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (23060 W Jefferson St, Joliet, IL 60431). A prayer was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Cemetery Chapel.
