Robert Dale Vander Wagen Sr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Dale Vander Wagen Sr. (Elwood, Illinois), who passed away on December 31, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Siebern Wagen and Rena Vander Wagen; his grandson Derek; and his sibling Thomas. He is survived by: his children, Bob Jr. (Barb), Laura Pettit (Eddie), Thom (Jennifer) and Jeff; his grandchildren, Crystal Klausmeier (David), Renee, Bill and Joshua; his great grandchildren, Laith, Heidi, Maime and Mia; and his sister Martha Wassenaar (late Richard).
The military honors was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
