With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard E. Wheet (Elwood, Illinois), born in Oak Park, Illinois, who passed away on April 5, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elbert Wheet and Mildred Wheet; his children, Kimberli Evon (Jerome), Richard Wheet and Scott Wheet; his grandchildren, Kaelen Evon and Emma Evon; and his siblings, BettyJo Howell (late William) and Michael Wheet.

“In loving memory of Richard E. Wheet, With deepest sympathies. I have known Richard "Squeeky" since about 1967. My wife Kathy and Squeeks wife Kathy were pregnant at the same time. My daughter Jenn and his daughter Kim are the same age. I am Godfather to his son Scott. He will be missed. We had many good times together. Tom”
