She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Brooks and Gertrude Brooks; her siblings, William Brooks and Jean Fischer (Bob); and her brothers-in-law, Dick Maskel (Betty), Emmett Maskel, Pat Maskel and Ed Maskel (Judy).
She is survived by: her husband David M. Maskel of Morris; her sons, David Maskel (Marilyn) of Dwight, Jim Maskel (Ashley) of Morris and Dennis Maskel (Kristen) of Channahon; her grandchildren, Jeffery Maskel, Elliot Gernentz, Jacob Maskel, Kaylea Mann (Tyler), Cooper Maskel, McKenna Maskel and Madyson Maskel; her great grandchild Axel Mann; her sister Faye Lynn Malek (Bill) of Lake View, Arkansas; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Brooks of Gardner, Patricia Misener (Joe) of Morris and Joyce Cobler of Marseilles. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
