With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis J. Derby (Elwood, Illinois), who passed away on August 25, 2019 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Phyllis J. Derby to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Hawk and Anna Fern Hawk; her siblings, Phillip, Kenneth and Leola Rose Hawk; and her granddaughter Anna Mae Louisa Grohs.
She is survived by: her husband Oscar; and her children, Don, Ron (Cathy), Bob (late Tonnie), Jimm (Linda) and Carma Lynn Grohs (Steve). She is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Waterstone Circle, Joliet, IL 60431 would be most appreciated.
