It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis A. Cammack of Elwood, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 9, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Krejca and Vlasta Krejca; and her husband Lester Cammack. She is survived by: her children, Laura Hackett (Steven) of Wilmington, Allen Cammack (Lynda) of Manhattan and Linda Koopman (Jeffrey) of Elwood; her grandchildren, Stephanie Pohlman (Brian), Natalie Casey (Timothy), Valerie Hawkins (Matthew), Kelley Getzelman (Adam), Kimberly Wendt (Andrew), Scott Cammack (Taylor) and Payton Koopman; her great grandchildren, Eastyn, Emery, Ellyson Pohlman, Phillip, Adaline Casey, Will, Jay Hawkins, Bishop, Scottlyn Getzelman, Liam and Riley Wendt; and her brother Edward Krejca (Lynne) of Frankfort. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Phyllis's name to the Alzheimer Foundation would be most appreciated.
