He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Jones and Ruby Jones Sr. (Heard); and his siblings, Simon Jones, Tempy Weal (Joe), Jerlene Crosby (Jack Sr.) and Corine Ammons (Robert Sr.).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Jones (Keys); his children, Perry Jones III (Elaine), Victor Jones, Cynthia Jones, Kowanda Jallow and Stacey Jones (Emily); his sister Rebecca Waddell; his sister-in-law Mary Ellen Jones; and his caregivers, Mary Joyce Thompson, John Adams and Lee Seivert. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
