She was predeceased by: her husband Richard "Lefty" William Novak; her son William "Bill" Allen Novak; her parents, Edward Schultz and Margaret Schultz; her siblings, Edward Schultz (Sylvia), Dawn Rhode (Clarence), William Schultz (Evelyn), Betty Jean Torma (Paul), Jack Schultz and Ralph Schultz; and her brother-in-law Don Laasch.
She is survived by: her daughter Jane Novak-Cook; her son-in-law DeWitt Cook; her grandchildren, Ellen Cook (David Burt), De Cook and David Cook; her daughter-in-law Liz Santa-Novak; her granddaughter Leah Santa-Ruiz (Craig Santa-Ruiz); her great grandchildren, Mateo and Joaquin Santa-Ruiz; her sister Althea Sovich; and her sister-in-law Frances Schultz. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
