Lynwood Smith Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mose Smith and Lula Smith (Selph). He is survived by: his children, Tana Nordaker (Rick) of Morris, IL and Mike Smith (Ellen) of Labadie, MO; his grandchildren, Brooke Knenlein (Rob), Matt Nordaker (Shay) of Parker, CO, Meg Rodriguez (Nick) of Jenks, OK and Jordan Smith (Jennifer) of St. Louis, MO; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Sean, Henry, Caleb and Fia; and his sister Cartha Williams of Gadsden, TN. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Lynwood's honor to the Illinois Veteran's Home.
