We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Lillian K. Moroney of Elwood, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Mahoney and Florence Mahoney; her husband John "Bill" Moroney; and her daughter-in-law Cynthia Moroney. She is survived by: her children, Sean Moroney, Michael Moroney, Elizabeth Barton (Derrick), Kathryn Moroney and Mary Holly Jurgerson (Wayne); and her grandchildren, John Moroney (Margaret), Sean Moroney Jr., Alex Carlson (Alexandra), Michael Moroney, Allison Moroney, Jeff Barton (Michelle), Emily Vranicar, Elizabeth Jurgerson and Erin Jurgerson. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Forsythe Gould Funeral Home (507 S State St, Manhattan, IL 60442). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (235 W North St, Manhattan, IL 60442).
