It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy W. Neilsen of Elwood, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on June 11, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herluf Nielsen and Emma Nielsen (Meader); his wife Kathryn W. "Kay" Nielsen (Veach); and his siblings, Herluf "Bob" Nielsen (Joan) and Marie Columbus (William).
He is survived by: his sister Dorothy L. Tyler (Richard) of Reno, NV; his nieces and nephews, Richard R. Tyler (Marylynn), Tad N. Tyler (Annette), Lynn Johnson and Laurie Menozi (Vince); his friends, Jim and Karen Hancock; and also Annette Theodore.
