She was predeceased by: her spouse Russell A. Merritt; her brother Jack Kaufman; and her parents, Edward "E. K." Kaufman and Aurelia "Babe" Kaufman. She is survived by: her children, Michael Merritt (Janet), Judy Easoz (Guy), June Hirschenberger (Bill), Jane Manning (Don) and Russell Merritt (Gina); her grandchildren, Michael (Katie), Chris (Krysta), Jeff (Lynsey), Jim (Lauren), Matt (Lauren), Caitlin (Brad), Abigail (Mike), Daniel, Maura (Alex), Jack, Grace (Tyler) and Russell; and her siblings, Dorothy Sweeney, Jean O'Brien and Jessie Connolly.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Lightways Hospice of Joliet, appreciated.
