He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Merle and Rose Merle. He is survived by: his daughter Nicole C. Merle; his grandchildren, Amy Flores, Paul F. Lewis and Nicholas E. Merle; his goddaughters, Jennifer Merle and Jenny Wilson; and his brother Jack Merle.
