It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack De Jong (Elwood, Illinois), who passed away on November 20, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Jong and Barbara De Jong; and his son Todd De Jong. He is survived by: his wife Joyce De Jong; his children, Bruce, Debbie De Jong, Laurie, Bob Bouwer and Brenda De Jong; his grandchildren, Courtney Jabaay (Joel), Caitlin French (Ross), Grant Bouwer (Gracie), Devon De Jong, Kyle De Jong (Amanda), Carley Hescott (Zack), Chase De Jong and Maeghan De Jong; his great grandchildren, Cohen, Camry, Chandler Jabaay, Summit, Saylor French, Brady, Cove Hescott and Beau Bouwer; his brother Hank De Jong (Lois); and his sisters-in-law, Claire Van Til (Ken) and Diane Langenburg (late Don).
