He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Joseph and Marianne Barbara Marek (Bizat). He is survived by: his wife Christine; his daughters, Chastity Ahern (John) and Rebecca Lynn Marek; his stepchildren, Cassandra Rambo and Kevin Rambo, Jr.; his sister Robyn Marek of Lockport; and his mother-in-law Bonnie Chellino (Butch) of Braidwood. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, as well as great grandchildren.
