He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Kessel and Theresa Kessel; his former wife Lillian Violet Kessel; his son Kevin Kessel; his sister Lois Berman (Seymour); his wife Jean Kessel; his children, Melody Marshall, Frank Kessel Jr., Kathleen Kessel (Chris Mercouris), Kim Kessel and Anthony Kessel (Sherri Bedster-Kessel); his grandchildren, Amanda Marshall (Bennet George Nisbet), Steve Marshall, Demi Krejczyk, Anahi Estrada Argueta and Rochelle Argueta; and his great grandchildren, Brandon Nisbet, Blake Nisbet, Jamie Nisbet and Bennett Anthony Nisbet.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM and on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Richard J Modell Funeral Home & Cremation Services (12641 W 143rd St, Homer Glen, IL 60491). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 6:00 PM and on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 9:45 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (12641 W 143rd St, Homer Glen, IL 60491). A burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
