Francis P. Horan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Francis P. Horan (Elwood, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 31, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Francis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Francis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dorothy; his children, Jeffrey, F. D. Horan (Louise), Donna Schon (Michael), Debra Rymut (late Michael) and Judy Arrigoni (late Steven); and his grandchildren, Zach Schon G. H. P., Jamie Paoletti (Nick), Michelle Rymut, Sean Horan of Brian Horan, C. F. D. and Christopher Horan.
The military honors was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
